Praise for Life Lines:
“Krauss’ poems are full of details that call us to bring joy and comfort to ourselves and to those around us. And from those moments, she unveils the solace waiting for when we step out of ourselves. Krauss’ poems ask us to embrace the specificity of each encounter and to contemplate what turns an encounter into a life line.”
—Robert Kaplan, author of “Past/Present” and Other Poems
“Life Lines casts a lifespan of poems, conveying Beatrice Krauss’ lyrical, embodied knowledge of music, dance, love, loss, and finding joy wherever and whenever it is possible. Her vision of what is actual and also possible carry the reader across a geography that feels both very real and hopeful.”
—Carol Kerr, co-author of Not the Trip We Planned
