Desert Apocrypha earns Reading the West Book Award

Zach Hively’s poetry collection Desert Apocrypha received the Reading the West Book Award at the 32nd annual awards ceremony in June. The book was shortlisted by members of the Mountains & Plains Independent Booksellers Association, and readers selected the winners. Fellow recipients include Joy Harjo (Poet Warrior, memoir) and Anthony Doerr (Cloud Cuckoo Land, fiction), among others.
